As outlined in Goal 3 of our strategic plan, the university remains committed to developing enterprising ways to continue building its research infrastructure. The Digital Champions Fellowship program supports faculty in implementing innovative models of instruction by offering virtual learning opportunities and greater inclusion of technology in the classroom. This fellowship is being offered under the university’s Center for Instructional Innovation, a unit of the Office of the Chief Innovation Officer. Sixteen faculty members have received awards for 2015 and will be able to take advantage of $3000 in professional development funding, expert advisement on developing course materials, and ongoing support as they implement their ideas. For a complete list of recipients and additional fellowship information, visit the Center for Instructional Innovation.
