The Council for the Progress of Cities was established to further engage the university in local and global issues that influence our community and to develop the active agenda of the Cities Initiative. Designed to help actualize Georgia State University’s goal to become an expert in Cities related issues and resolutions, the Cities Council represents the leadership of organizing these efforts between three (3) working groups: 1) Governance Planning & Infrastructure; 2) Economic & Business Development; and 3) Human Capital Development.
